Every property is different and final pricing is determined after an individual assessment by the provider.

Why do generator installation costs vary so much?

Because every property is different. Cost depends on generator size, your electrical service and panel, fuel or gas supply and line sizing, equipment placement, trenching, permits, inspections, site conditions and other installation requirements. Only an on-site assessment by the provider can produce an accurate price for your home.

Homeowners should independently review a provider's licensing, insurance, qualifications, contract, warranty and suitability before hiring them.

Not automatically. We may share aggregate, de-identified demand information — such as how many households in an area are interested — with potential providers. Your name, address, email and phone are only shared with a provider if you explicitly ask us to connect you.
