What this platform is
PowerTogether organizes groups of homeowners who are interested in backup power. We are an independent platform. We are not an electric utility, a generator manufacturer, an electrical contractor or an installer, and we do not sell or install equipment.
No commitment, no guarantee
Joining a group expresses interest only. It is not an order, a contract or a reservation. We do not guarantee that a group will reach any size, that providers will participate, that an offer will be made, or that any particular price or discount will be available.
Pricing and offers
Any pricing shown on this platform exists only if it has been negotiated and published by us. Final pricing for any individual home depends on the provider, equipment, electrical and gas conditions, permitting and installation complexity, and is set by the provider — not by us.
Third-party providers
Any purchase, contract, warranty, installation or service relationship is directly between you and the third-party provider you choose. You are responsible for verifying licensing, insurance and suitability before entering an agreement.
Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your home and to use the platform only for your own household.
Limitation of liability
The platform is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, PowerTogether is not liable for outcomes arising from your dealings with third-party providers or from decisions made based on information shown on the platform.
Changes
We may update these terms as the platform develops. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
Compensation disclosure
PowerTogether may receive compensation from participating providers in connection with completed purchases or program participation. Any applicable provider relationship or compensation structure will be disclosed as programs develop.
