What we collect
When you join a neighborhood group we collect the details you enter: name, email address, optional phone number, home address, ZIP code, and the backup power preferences and home details you choose to share. If you report a power outage we store the ZIP code, timing and any notes you add.
Why we collect it
We use it to place you in the correct local group, measure how many households in an area are interested, contact you about your group, and share aggregate demand information with potential providers.
What we share
Providers may be shown aggregate, de-identified demand information such as the number of interested households in an area and the mix of equipment interest. Your name, street address, email address and phone number are not shared with a provider unless you explicitly ask us to connect you.
What we never do
We never publish your address, phone number or email. We never sell your personal information. We never enroll you in a purchase.
Your choices
You can view and update your information from your member dashboard at any time, and you can ask us to delete your record entirely through our contact form.
Security
Data is stored in an access-controlled database. Personal records are readable only by you and by authorized platform administrators.
Compensation disclosure
PowerTogether may receive compensation from participating providers in connection with completed purchases or program participation. Any applicable provider relationship or compensation structure will be disclosed as programs develop.
Contact
Privacy questions and data requests go through our contact form.
